Introducing a new system of search and detection of cold and firearms, grenades, other items containing ferromagnetic materials. At the exhibition was demonstrated a search passive magnetic tomography with a discrete scan, it does not send radiation in the entire frequency range.

In most cases, the search for any units and elements by which aggressive actions turn out to be possible are ferromagnets: firearms, grenades, blank weapons, disguised under clothing or in luggage, «belts of shahids» containing ready-made pieces, batteries in the electronic circuit of undermining, mechanical, electronic and radio detonators of various explosive devices.
At the same time, signals from products of diamagnetic metals (watches, jewelry, foil confectionery, etc.) in this case are jamming, reducing the capacity.
Detection systems
If necessary to search a large number of people, for example, during mass events, the low search speed leads to the impossibility of a quality controlling process, because of the possibility of cheating with the help of special copper plates «stealth» (based on the induction principle of operation).
Advantages of Magnetic Tomography:
- 1. No electromagnetic radiation
- 2. There is no risk of accidental detonation of explosives;
- 3. Compactness / reliable disguise of the device (in doorways, walls), there is the possibility to monitor by radio.
- 4. Two levels of the definition of an object, an even more subtle instrument, enabling the user to see the spatial structure of perturbations of the electromagnetic field around the object of search.
- 5. There is no intrinsic electromagnetic field.
The magnetic tomography contains information collection, transmission unit and autonomous indicator device.
It includes Earth magnetic field distortion sensors in the form of a line of solid-state semiconductor magnetic field sensors fixed on the axis, a controller, a receiving and transmitting device, a body made of non-magnetic material.
This search tomography is efficiently used in civil and transport facilities, such as airports, railway stations, metro, administrative and public buildings. Moreover, due to mobility and small capacity, tomography can be executed at important strategic facilities and at crowded places, sport events, festivals and concerts.
The search tomography is packed into an ordinary bag. The military forces can easily deliver equipment to the site, deploy, conduct an inspection and after the finish of the event, remove it again.
